Commercial Projects
Commercial Roofing, Siding & Windows in Eugene & Springfield, OR.
Woman-owned, locally operated. The same quality-first install approach we bring to residential — applied to small commercial buildings across the Willamette Valley.
Storm Roofing's primary focus is residential — but we also take on commercial projects across Eugene, Springfield, and the surrounding Willamette Valley. Same woman-owned, locally operated company. Same quality-first install, no-commissioned-sales approach. Different scope.
Commercial projects we handle
We focus on small commercial buildings where our residential-experienced crew can deliver the most value:
- Small office buildings
- Retail storefronts and strip-mall units
- Mixed-use buildings
- Multi-family residential (duplexes, triplexes, small apartment buildings)
- Light industrial / warehouse roofs on a case-by-case basis
For very large commercial projects — tens of thousands of square feet of roof area, structural steel, or complex flat-roof systems on big-box buildings — we may not be the right fit. We'll tell you straight if a project is outside our scope.
Materials we install on commercial
Commercial roofing materials differ from residential because the typical roof profile is flat or low-slope. We install:
- TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) — the most common modern flat-roof membrane. White surface reflects heat, strong warranty programs.
- EPDM rubber membrane — durable, long-lasting flat-roof material with a 50+ year track record.
- Modified bitumen — multi-ply membrane suitable for many small commercial buildings.
- Standing-seam metal — for sloped commercial roofs, modern industrial aesthetics, and long-term durability.
- Architectural asphalt shingles — for steep-slope commercial buildings that look residential (small offices, mixed-use, multi-family).
For commercial siding and windows, the product range overlaps with residential — James Hardie fiber cement siding and vinyl windows from the major manufacturers both have commercial-grade product lines.
How commercial differs from residential — for us
- Bidding process. Commercial estimates often require detailed scopes, takeoffs, and bid documents. We can work from your spec or generate the scope ourselves.
- Scheduling. Commercial buildings can't always shut down for an install. We work around operating hours when needed.
- Permitting. Commercial permits go through the Eugene/Springfield commercial building departments rather than residential. Different timelines, different inspections — we handle it.
- Insurance & bonding. Commercial work often requires higher liability coverage and project-specific bonds. We carry both.
